Full color designing can be tricky

It’s not always easy getting what you want from full color printing. The very technology that makes it more available can also be the source of much frustration. What you see on your computer screen may not look anything like the postcards that you order. Our Yellow Card program is different. Since we control the design, you won’t have technical issues. And since Yellow Cards are printed in black on yellow paper, they always turn out exactly as you would expect.

You don’t have to be a graphic artist or a computer genius to create your Yellow Card design. We’ll do most of the work for you. That includes converting your graphics or designing your postcard from scratch. It’s all included. Most of our clients send us the ad copy – we take it from there.

So avoid the possibility of a full color disaster. Save money and get an effective mailer out quickly, without a hassle. Call about our Yellow Card program today or request your planning guide now.

A few problems that often occur during the production stages of full color printing

  • Art is submitted without building bleeds
  • RGB color model used instead of CMYK resulting in “color freak-out”
  • Photos used are less than 300 DPI and show pixilation
  • Photos are from websites and really show pixilation (big digital squares).
  • Colors used in design are confusing and not complimentary
  • Using and submitting programs that are inappropriate for professional printing
  • Inability to export the design to the proper file types used for printing
  • Art is not fully “ready-to-print” and requires editing to be complete
  • Exported “ready-to-print” file is of low resolution and entire job is pixilated
  • Use of spot colors that print in unexpected shades or hues

Of course these problems, and many others, are not experienced by Yellow Card clients. Order your direct mail guide today.
